Thai massages, foot massages, oil massages - Welcome to NamJa

The art of Traditional Thai Massage requires a comprehensive knowledge of the body, more precisely the bones, tendons, ligaments, and muscles. It is useful in helping to relieve the pain and symptoms of chronic aches and pains in the muscles and bones which so often occur caused by malpositions (standing or sitting the whole day) that are just too normal nowadays. It can also be a therapy to treat consequences of joint and soft tissue injuries and a broad range of stress related disorders and the tensions caused by that. As an effect of loosening tensions it is naturally also efficient in getting rid of headaches, digestive trouble, insomnia and anxiety. Many people are also surprised at the soothing effects that the massage has in helping to reduce stress and strain itself as root cause of these physical disorders.

The techniques of Thai massage differ greatly from those used by the classic massage known in Europe that focuses mainly on muscles and soft tissue.

It covers the entire human body, while the greatest attention is paid to leg muscles, joints, feet and back that tend to be damaged the most by current lifestyle. To get the full benefit of a Thai massage, a 90-120 minutes full body treatment is applied. But a 30-60 minute treatment of body or even only feet and legs has already a great effect for your well-being.

It is a highly effective massage technique that works along and on the body's energy lines with the practitioners using their thumb, palm, elbow, knee and foot pressure combined with yoga based stretches and acupressure. The practitioner moves his client into various poses and massages specific acupressure points within the body to release blockades in the body's energy lines (sen) and to stimulate and balance the energy flow, increase flexibility and vitality, release stress and ease all kinds of psychic and physical tensions.
